Lovely shot Neil - beautiful light on the gate/walls, fabulous sky. It really invites the viewer to walk into it. I'd be interested in your thoughts on the 5D too.

Wonderful. Tranquillity. Sexy, too! (i studied psychology)! Eternal moment! I love the shifting of blue colour, there is a clear line between lighter and darker blue! Amazing!

yes, it's all been said, i guess, but did not read the comments!!! i don't care! i want to say it for myself that the reflections, tones of pastel colours, details and the organic feeling this picture gives me- i cannot believe! if this pic were to be a bigger format i would feel i am swimming there!
Neil, i do work in B&W most of the times, and i do like it very much what i do, but with those landscape pic man, you have have made me recosider some things!
Your work, is a pearl!!!

I absolutely love this - the subtle simplicity in terms of subject matter and composition, that peak positively glowing in the evening light. I'm ashamed to say I don't know this place, despite the fact that my wife was born and brought up in the Lake District. Something that needs rectifying!
