Great closeup - how'd you get to be that near - a 100mm wouldn't give you that much zoom - especially given that it's macro

Great shot. Love not only the jumping one in the back but also the front one looking at you and being split apart from all the rest. My only regret with this image would be that the front one is not in focus... although given the distance between them it's understandable... otherwise an absolutely fantastic image.

Thanks Bahadir. Love your comment. As for the tripod, it would be nearly impossible to run back to the exact location. Even if the hand were held an inch lower, it would have ruined the effect.

Absolutely love this shot. The composition - the angles and perspective as well as the colors. Fantastic work.

PS: Great portfolio - all your South America pictures reminded me of some of my own travels.

This (as well as your other shot) could well be a desktop image for Windows XP or else a scene from Shrek. Love the seemingly infinte tones of green - if not for them the image would simply be just another scenic shot.

Stunning!!!!!! Love the composition - the person is ideally placed allowing one to truly acknowledge the might and scale of that curtain of water.

You've got a really nice portfolio of candid shots - especially the ones of the kids. Often completely spontaneous and natural - just like this one. Always well composed and executed!

Fantastic work!

Simply stunning!!!! The lightness in the clouds draws you straight to the center of the image, to the sunlight and the boats. My only comment is that had it been taken at more water-level you might have been able to see the silhouette of the boats a bit better (maybe). But that by no means detracts from an absolutely amazing image.

Simply a perfect composition!!! Everything from the lines, the proportions, the shapes, the softer contours of the boy and the circle v. the harder contours of all the other shapes. Fantastic shot!

Well - I'd crop it differently - I think the ceiling and floor are unnecessary. Attached my version of it.

Great capture and composition. Love the fact that it's just the towers that are floating in the night sky and that the rest of the buildings aren't lit up in the saem way. Maybe just a little bit crisper would be better - but other than that it's a great shot!

It's like they're having a conversation together - expressing their love for each other. What a great image. The flowers almost take on human characteristics trying to tell us a story.
Good choice of lighting/composition/dof!
Love it!

What a cutie-pie. When I was there he definitly wasn't in a posing mood. Either he liked you more or you were really patient.
