I like it Rupert for the lighting effect that you found in amongst the trees. It plays well against parts of the animal and accentuates the details.
Cheers mate....stingray

Interesting and slighty unconventional framing, but the grass in the foreground spoils the picture. A slightly higher viewpoint would have avoided it.

An unusual pairing of a beachside setting with a line of hanging squid. Bizarre, but uniquely natural - nice work!

Now that Jason mentioned it, that stick throws the photo out of balance, for just a tiny object. Other than that, brilliant colours and texture! Keep it up!

I feel attracted by this photo! I cannot say that it is out of focus, as I am sure that you meant it to be like this. It has a story, hasn't it?! The broken rose....is it the end of innocence?
Best regards,
Gabriela

Dear Rupert, interesting shot from many points of view: play of light and shadow, angle of shooting, texture of the stones, and the story one can imagine watching this shot. Very attractive!
Thanks for the visit at my lotus flower!
Best regards,
Gabriela

I like the composition Rupert and the monochromatic colours. Really feeling closed in, slightly claustrophobic, but with a chance of escape into the light. Regards john
