Yes, I agree. That is why I also posted some zoo shots in the past.

You have taken a pretty difficult composition with great ease, and presented it Jeroen.

Liked it a lot !!!

cheers !!

Yes because I often control F-16's. LOL It reminds me of thie one time...

I was training on posistion. I am an Air Traffic Controller. Four F-16's came in for the overhead, and I had a P-3 aproaching abeam. Really fast, behind a really slow. They broke way to early and was coming up on this P-3's rear. I extended my P-3's downwind and brought all the F-16's in front of him. In about 2 minutes, seemed like 30 seconds, the F-16 had control of my pattern. One on every leg of my pattern. Every one in the tower was watching in amazment of this incedable aircraft's ability doing 50 foot wheels up low appraoches at 200 kts! I didn't see any of it, I kept my focus on the P-3. That has nothing todo with the photo but it was nice to reminessice. My point is the only time I had F-16's in my pattern I didn't get to look at them.

P.S. The P-3 Pilot later called and complained I didn't turn his base sooner so he could see the action!

Thanks for letting me rant!

It is indeed a DC-3. There are still a few flying around, lovingly restored and maintained.

What is this aircraft? At first site it appears to be a tail dragger. I instintivly thought DC-3. I know that is wrong, so what is it? Great clean shot though.

Yes, a very good low shot Jeroen.. I just wonder if a bit of crop from the top would enforce the impact of the picture even more...

The bird's shadow also ads a nice touch..

cheers !

Well, having come here via Mads forum posting, I guess I should at least leave a comment...

And I have to say I think this is pretty good. There is great detail on the spider, though it would be nice if all the legs were sharp. I like the background - colourful but not distracting. I would perhaps prefer the spider without his lunch though, as I find it distracts from the spider itself.

*on another note, you may want to see this...others heard from "him" even while the tribute photos were posted here...some of us think it was a hoax by a "very young guy" who was seeking more attention....
