I have personally walked about the arch... to the paddle boats... across the traffic... at low water... and flood stage... over the years... with cam in hand... but you have captured an interesting view... compliments

Another night shot with superb lighting and colours, I like the details in this one. Beautifully composed and superbely captured image.Great work!. P.s. thanks for comment, Mike. You couldn't find the raincoat I photographed it in close-up and the only thing visible are some folds. The light source is natural. We had an exceptional sunny morning inbetween the many rainy days. The sunlight getting in from the window made the colour of the raincoat appear very nice, that day. It's the reason why I decided to take a shot of it. The folds made for some beautiful shadow work Regards - Emgy

Great capture Mike with excellent tonal range. A tight crop on the leafless tree might make an alternative picture. Best regards, Graham.

Very good contrast. Francis, I think that your choice of B&W perfeclty reflects surprising return of a winter conditions in your region. I can feel the "borderline temperatures" with heavy and wet snow. Great image wonderfully presented. Friendly regards, Rafal

Nice shot of a miserable day. Here in NY we are still getting it. Where is the spring? When will it get here? I tried to go out to shoot today but it was coming down so hard it was impossible to keep the lense from getting wet. Stay warm.

This is a wonderful shot! I think storms are my greatest love and this shows a pending one well. The red roof cries out. The house looks lonely and scared. Wow.. now this is what I'd like to achieve, but I also want to do it the old fashioned way on film with a manual camera. This is the greatest challenge. I also loved the picture of your moon rising through the trees. I tried one recently, but did not have a tripod with me, nor a neutral density filter, so it was blown out, and a little blurred. Maybe next time
