Hey, Chris!
This is one of my best friends (since 5th grade, and I hate to think of how long that's been). I wanted to do some night shots, but I didn't want to go by myself. Vickie and my cousin Courtney not only went with me, they even let me take a few of them (probably thinking I wouldn't use them).

This is a great photo. I like that there is some action to it. I'm also happy to see youth her age getting involved in such a worth while cause. It is sad how many people are dying of AIDS. More so, that some people who claim they are stand for what is good, will proclaim that these folks deserve to die...
OK. I've made my political statement for the day.

I am! On the way home she said, "I want to do this again next year - I really think I could raise more money."
Glad you like the photo. I've done a few for the paper. I would like to learn more about photo journalism.

Hey, Chris! I was happy with how this turned out, too, tone-wise. I played a little in PhotoShop Elements to get what I wanted.
The theater is in Jasper, Indiana. It's down here in the southern part of the state. Jasper is really trying to revitalize the older part of town. Might be some help through the group working on the revitalization....

The light thru those windows must have been amazing for the kids -- they don't know ehat they are missing in todays schools that are not nearly so open. Good shot, great light and color. K

I was worried for a moment that they might be trained to attack! (Attack sheep - that idea is cracking me up) When I walked through the gate, they all started coming toward me. When I held up the camera, they froze. I would put the camera down and they would start moving, up and they would freeze again. I can only guess they were wondering, "What the heck is that thing she's pointing at us?"
Thanks for the comments!
