This is fabulous. The composition is great and highlights the grass and jewel like drops beautifully. I love this.

Oh my, I love sunflowers and we always grow them and I didn't recognize these seeds. Maybe they are a different type. Neat picture. They do look like a school of fish.

Old graveyards have such interesting history. B&W was a good choice for this image. Your use of the light is it leads the viewer's eye front the foreground through to the interior. Well presented image.

Beautiful landscape. The lines of the mountains and the fence directs the viewer right into the interior of the lovely scene. The tone and details are wonderful. Congratulations on the Award.

This is an captivating image. The contrast between the bright, decorative building and the dark enveloping the woman is interesting and intriguing.

Thanks, Art. It was a very still time of that day, so the leaves were not moving. In some of the images I tried like this, there was distracting blur in the leaves. This was also a low activity day--no boats going by. The waves created by passing boats cause the docked boats to move around. So, for a number of these that I tried, I had to not include trees or boats.
Next summer I think I will try one like this and a long exposure just after to see the difference and/or benefits of each.

Hi Roswitha. Yes, it certainly is a beautiful area. This picture is from Bark Lake, just a little way outside Barry's Bay.

Such a magnificent tree. What kind is it? The blooms look similar to our lilacs--but our lilacs do not grow on trees like that. It's lovely. Of course, it would not be the same without the bike.

You presented this from a wonderful angle. At a first, quick glance I thought you had flipped one half of the picture to get the symmetry. However, you got it by being observant and standing in just the right spot. Very Well done.
Congratulations on the Award.

The lovely, clean white snow shows off the beautifully textured leaves. It shows a transition of seasons wonderfully.
We don't have any snow yet. Although it can be pretty, I can wait awhile longer for it.

Gorgeous! The vibrant colours of the leaves against the gray background is very effective. The way the lines of the leaves intersect with the lines of the wood is so very appealing.
