The man feeding the birds is wonderful and it's great that the birds are so comfortable with the human hand feeding them.

The girl in the image seems kind of in her own world and not even interested in watching what is going on. The colorized part of her sweater doesn't seem to really have a place in the photo as she does and is distracting from what is the focal point here.

I have no idea what this is, but I love it.

Excellent colors against the black.

Great shapes and lighting.

As usual a superb macro.

Love the dark rich shade of the petals of the flower. Excellent detail overall.

I never knew what the raw version of Coriander looks like until now.

I like the lighting but feel that the image should have been move sharp towards overall especially towards to top of the mountain of the Coriander.

The color of the background is perfect and blens in nicely.

Great sharpness in this image to show the rock and the texture.

I love the colors and it reminds me of my trip to the Nevada and Arizona area. The colors of the rock formations are incredible.

I already commented on this image sometime ago.

Just wanted to congratulate you my friend on having two photos on the front page on the same day!

I love lighthouses and envy that you were once a Light Keeper. I'm sure lighthouses do have a deeper meaning to you than most of us.

Maybe the fact that this is photographed so well is the time that you have spent with them throughtout the years.

Beautiful composition. The foreground is just beautiful with the rocks and the reflection of the lighthouse in the water.

Beautiful!

I see you are doing some travelling in the states now.

Beautiful beach scene. I love the colors of the sand, grasses and sky. Very natural colors and easy on the eyes. I like the areas of the sunlight on the sand and the grassy tops blowing in the wind.

I do agree and don't know if I would have even have noticed the bike tire in the image had it not been pointed out in a previous comment.

You know that's really funny. Cause a few times I've been out and there has been a thought or two about could that be the one and only Doyle D. Chastain.

I'm going to practice my curtsey now.

I'll bring a Sharpie so you can autograph my camera bag too. LOL

So I click on my "friends" images and I see you have two awards on your recent images you posted. I told you they were good. I'm sure your Owl will have an award associated with it soon too.

I'm not kind all the time, but I am honest!

I speak my mind and give my honest opinion. Your photos that you posted in the last couple of days are wonderful, especially the Falcon and the Owl above.

How sad that this poor owl was so nervous. I didn't know panting is a sign of nerves in owls.

I'm really regretting missing out on Whale Day. The shots of the various species of birds you have is just amazing.

The thumbnail of this owl was so clear I almost didn't have to click on the image to enlarge it to see how great it is.

The image is gorgeous. The feathers look so true to life that you can almost feel the softness of the feathers. I love the color of the owl's eyes. The background of the image looks so natural it looks like a blue sky with the sun setting in the distance.

Amazing my friend. Worthy of an award for sure. 7+!

Don't know if it is my monitor as no one else has mentioned this, but the focus seems to be on your father's hand rather than the bird.

Other than that the DOF is perfect to bring out the bird and your father's hand.

I knew about Whale Day, but I've been sick the last 2 weeks and though being out by the cliffs was not in my best interest.

I'm sad to have missed it, maybe next year.

Congratulations on the great photos. I'm so JEALOUS!

WOW! I thought the Redtail Hawk wsa an awesome photo, this one is amazing.

Excellent sharp focus, DOF perfect and the light in the Falcon's eye really brings this one to life.

Where abouts in P.V. are these guys? You're so lucky to be at the right place at the right time.

7+++++++++++++!

At first I thought this image was taken at the zoo too. What a great moment to see this Redtail Hawk in the wild and be able to get an image like this so sharp.

Wonderful! 7+

Looks like the little girl wants to get her hands on too.

What a great moment. I can hear the kids now and all their excitement as they relive this moment over and over again and their joy.

I hope their mom was standing close by to take a photo for them as their memory of the moment.

Cute expression - very natural.

It does appear as if you are on the ice with them. You must have had fantastic seats or were able to roam the arena for a better perspective on the game and a better angle for this shot.

Very sharp and clear. Would have been great to see some hockey sticks blurred on this one to show some motion in the game, but it happends so fast the puck would probably have been out of the image.

The colors are fantastic in all of your zoo shots.

The image looks so true to life with the colors, ripples in the water and the sunlight.

I hope you got some images of the lion. I can only image how great fantastic those must look after your zoo preview. Show me the lion!

I'm so jealous. The tigers were so lazy they didn't even move the day I went to the zoo.

Perfect weather and looks like you had some great natural light (sunshine).

I like how you have the tiger moving and his paw in motion. What a great vantage point you have.
