I have seen this done before but you have executed it very well. Nice colours, great dof, water droplet is well positioned. I might have taken a tiny bit of pink from the bottom. Lovely image and very well done. V

Brings back the memory of when a gecko got the better of my old cat by biting her lip but hanging on. The cat came running into the house calling for help!!! Took me all my time to get if off. Great shot Harry. V

Hi Ray, they are 2 nuns out collecting the food for the convent. The nuns go out twice a week and collect raw foods which they prepare themselves. The monks go out daily and collect cooked food. Both have 2 meals a day - at 5am when they wake and again 11am. They have to be finished by midday then they don't eat again until morning...they can drink filtered water or if they are really lucky, orange juice. Amazing life. V

Thanks for the lovely comments...as far as cameras, well......probably too many. Had the D100, got the D200 but found it too noisy, jumped straight into the D300 only to find the D700 was released soon after so, just had to have it and boy am I glad I did..great camera (so is the D300). V

Hi Fabrice, glad you like my image. The Myanmar people are very happy to be photographed and certainly, if you show respect, the monks are fine about it too. I believe it is part of their discipline. The grain effect is because I was in an old building - used as a school house - with only window light so there was a bit of noise which I smoothed a little in CS4. regards V
