Beautifully peaceful composition! You're right about the sunsets, but I'm not sure this qualifies as one... ;-) Anyway, you captured a very dramatic sky.
Initially, I thought the fishing pole was some kind of leftover. It turns out to strengthen the picture by providing an almost subliminal human element...
Wonderful job.

Great macro; the dewdrops are really very well rendered. My only gripe is with the focussed area: maybe a little more in front and less to the back would have improved it... regards

Beautiful tones and contrast between the lighthouse and the sky. The hanging boat adds an interesting secondary subject.
There seems to be a bit of banding in the sky on my screen.

Nice macro; I think it would look better by playing a little with the levels to raise contrast and also a crop, to remove the blank space on the left side (see suggestion).

Simplicity pays off! The color, textures and composition in this picture play very well. Ahem... the bolts on the left seem a little bit distracting and could well be cropped away [just a thought.]

Mundane subjects sometimes make great pictures; very interesting composition and tone combination. If only it had a little more DOF (for the grass in the foreground...)
