Hi Steve, I love the moment and experience you captured here. While shooting into the bright light of the sun, it is difficult to capture much in the way of details of other things. Both the boat and the clouds on the horizon make for a wonderful photo. Congratulations on producing such a wonderful photo. Darryl

Shirley, What a wonderful moment you captured. He is looking at the camera as he is having a conversation with it. Be careful this time of year as the males become very aggressive just prior to and during rut. Your exposure and focus is perfect and your DOF works really well. Congratulations. Darryl

Great macro Paul. I love the brilliant color and use of DOF. This shows the wonderful "flower within a flower" idea. The photo is magazine cover worthy. Darryl

Wayne, This is a great capture of a part of this countries history. Just looking at these drivers, I can feel the ground shaking. Great focus, lighting, and DOF. I love the steam era and this such a wonderful capture. Darryl

Wow Greg. What a stunning capture of this flower. The diminished lighting make it very intriguing without effecting the beautiful red. The black background definitely help bring the color out. Congratulations on work well done. Darryl

Wonderful perspective of this flower meadow. The colors are complimentary and the trees make a fine background. Great work Fabio.

Your photo uses a very interesting combination of complementary colors and great use of DOF to achieve a wonderful presentation. It demonstrates that the back side of a flower has wonderful beauty. Darryl

Alexei, You caught a wonderful moment here. Poor little critters never seem to get enough to eat. The 3rd baby is either been feed well or is too weak to compete with the other two. Your photo really caught the moment. Darryl

Very interesting approach to photographing a head of wheat in the field. The lighting and use of DOF work really well. The subdued DOF/focus give a very intriguing appearance to the focal point. Congratulations. Darryl

Ahmed, This is a beautiful capture of an intriguing and historical site. The lighting and image detain are in sharp focus and the color pops out. I would imagine that it was difficult to get a balance exposure of light with the brightness of the flood lights and the reflected light from the structures. Well done. You have my vote for an award! Alessandro, This is a beautiful stop action photo with sharp focus and DOF. The color is vibrant and the fine detail in sharp focus. I almost feel that I'm in flight right along side this bird. Congratulations on the

Yes, rain is dearly needed. It almost makes me cry driving down I-5 and seeing all the dead trees and empty fields. I live on the coast in Northern California where we've had a good amount of rain and I can see water stress in the grass and trees around here. Down in central and southern California must be a regular dust bowl. I wonder if the parks and golf courses will stay green. Not much chance of rain now as the rainy weather is over. Good luck. Stan, very interesting and unusual perspective of the water flow. The white streaks in the stream reminds me of a time lapse photo of the stars. The composition is outstanding! Thanks for sharing. Darryl

Ted, Great view of the "operations end" of this historic plane. Great detail. It took real heroes to go up in these machines night after night to do a job that must be done. I have similar shots of the USA B-17 bomber. Thanks for sharing. Darryl
