Hi Kes,
Wow! This is a coincidence. I just got finished watching a show called "Monster Quest" These guys were debunking sightings of "Unidentified Flying Humanoids" No kidding!!
A few of them were exploring caves in the mountains near Monterrey Mexico. I think they were trying to find evidence of flying humanoids living in the caves. You didn't happen to find any flying monkeys or anything like that in there, did you!

Thank you, Paul. There are indeed dangers in mining. I worked in a surface mine for a decade and naturally maintain a lot of respect for the work underground miners perform.

Real dramatic atmosphere with the light falling into this space from outside. How dark these mines really are ?
Imagine the media hype of 33 saved mine workers as still every week world wide also a multi fold of mine workers die in making a living for their families,
cheers,
Paul

Hi Kes,
You know what's interesting about this one. Although obviously distressed and (fooled around with) for effect, the viewer is still naturally drawn into the eyes of the subject. The eyes in photography are so powerful, even when they are just barely there.

Hi Kes,
I like the idea, but I agree with Pablo. I think the colour version is just as effective, but less overwhelming to the eyes.
