My, how well the two sides complement each other! This is brilliant Pankaj, splitting the face and having one half coloured, the other black-and-white brings out qualities in each half of the face that might not have otherwise been seen. A very bright and harmonious image. Good work!!
see-ya,
Nadia
P.S. Thank you for commenting on my picture!

I don't know whether this has happened here, but what a great way to rescue a photo with blown sky. Thanks for the idea, it might come in handy sometime.
But whatever the reason, the resulting image is very effective with the contrast of the red boat and green foliage.

Very good record of this place and these people. The effect is very warm and friendly--and the title reinforces that. Excellent idea to include some of the location in the shot--very important to establishing the atmosphere. Regards, --George

Petal i had done another flower series, in fact it was my first one that i am recalling here, and you know what, my mentor was so surprized to see those results that he point blank asked me"Have U done this?" Haven't found a better compliment so far but unfortunately have lost/gifted most of the hard copies and can't locate my negatives fo that now.Otherwise i would have loved to share them with you.
Regards Pankaj

Hye Anthony!
Even i am in love with B&W's generally.
Though color has it's own potential and scope but i find there's some kind of romanticism associated with B&W's > some kind of old world charm, i find B&w's very relaxing in the absence of colorful distraction's.
Regards Pankaj

This is a thrilling photograph! I can feel the unease as you press the shutter button. The timing and structure is flawless. Once milli-second earlier or later would have not included the expression of the man on the right. His eyes are trained onto the man that notices you. I imagine that just after you fired the shutter they all turned toward you? I am envy you this photo.

It is very hard for me to choose your best photo Pankaj. You have many that capture my attention and hold me to study them. This one however draws me in close and holds me longest. At first I did not notice the scanning artifacts but even after seeing them they do not detract enough to bring the photo down. Your capture of this man is fantastic enough for me to want to know his name, and he feels like a friend. To me that is the pinnacle of people photography. Brilliant Pankaj!
