very nice scene bill, the catching the sun through the arch is very nice, the runner really adds motion to the scene, wonderful colors and perspective..

Sam - - Thanks for the added advice. I will work some more with this picture over time when I learn more about Photoshop. I'll let you know when I get it right . My youngest daughter is getteing married later this week, so it is going to have to wait.

I love the purity of this sihouette, but did you lose some of the sky tones? do you know how to use a mask? selecting only the shadows or only the sky when modifying the brightness or the levels? (select with magic wand, then choose new adjustment layer and it will mask to only the selected area)

Ingrid - - No they are not my work. The better ones were constructed by someone named Alex, a parking lot attendant, who lives in Providence.

Splendid moment Bill, a very good BW expose and work. but the composition realy could be improved if you had used rules of 1/3 for the main subject,but anyway i like your work....i would glad if you visit my portfolio.
