Hi Benedict,
Thanx for the kind words. The critter was peched outdoors and untouched by me. It was a cooperative midel though. I should also note that the image is a composite of two taken in succession with the goal of increasin the DOF at this high magnication.

Thanx for your comments on my images. I use extension tubes, teleconverters and diopters to get more magnification out of the canon 100mm macro that it will give normally. Best,

Excellent macro, the detail is amazing. Wasps are interesting creatures though I definitely prefer observing them through a great photo such as this, rather than in person.
