Well, the left sign may be printed the right way around, but the one on the right has much better contrast ;-)

Yuck. Worse than zoos, I hate fish.

Great picture, though. My question is how did you get that one guy in the middle to stand up and pose for you and look at the camera. To me, that's what made the photo.

I like this a lot. I don't have to tell you why, since you already know. I'll just say that you have the keen ability to spot a good photo in things that others would overlook.

good angle for this macro. Certainly alloiws for the sense of length of the critter.

Love your titles, too.

That is a great capture when one stops and studies it. I just love the eyes peering through the palm frons (or whatever it is). It is hilarious to think that he probably thinks he is hiding from you.

Good one (and I hate zoos too)

I like long exposure photography but I must say this is busy. It seems the streaks and blurs go in so many different directions that there is no "autofocus" for the eye. While the colors are great, the many variations of color tend to add to this busy-ness. I'd almost like to see this photo without the blur. I would imagine the night lighting would make for some beautiful colors.

Love the repetition and you definitely spotted a good photo opportunity. Nice post-process, probably made the difference in mood of the photo.

Excellent composition. Very original. I've never seen a blue and red metallic beetle before; only the green ones.

Absolutely beautiful. It's soft where it should be, sharp where it needs it. It's like a dream world.

The contrast of the orange fish against the blue sky creates the illusion that the viewer is undersea, looking up at some magical swimming fish. This is one of your images that always makes me look again. Cool

Amusing, colorful, creative. I have seen this scene many times and never thought to make a photo of it. What a good idea. What makes sites such as this so helpful is that it opens our eyes when we see what others are seeing.

This had the potenial to be a very busy/ overpowering shot, but the way you handled it (angle, light etc.) has turned it into a very successful image! The colours jump off the screen at me, and although there is a lot to look at, it has a flow to it that just pulls my eyes through.

Heather, I would love to see the finished painting of my photo if you get around to it! How fun!
