I would rather think it's an adventurous cat just visiting an abandoned building. He has a nice warm house to go back home to and caring owners - right? Love the way you left him in colour with that great light on him and the rest is in B&W. Nice work.

Cheers - Ann

Beautiful work Michaelle. I love the tones and the textures are lovely. Interesting antique effect at the bottom around the pot. Very nice.

I like the image and find it very rich in contrasts and texture. Good contrast, very pleasing to the eye. in vertical format, is there more to the pump? or did you lose some of the right portion of the image?

Ahhh....The Last Cattail. This too has a burnt old world feel about it with great tones and textures. I think I like this one better. It feels somewhat more like a painting on canvas. I think it has more strength than the other due to the deeper tones and darer areas. It's futher enhanced by the ever so slight gap inviting me to go through to see what's on the other side of the cattails. I like the way the image gets my imaginations working overtime. Both images are great Michaelle. Great work. I wish I understood PS half as well.

Cheers - Ann

This is very eye catching Michaelle. The tones are strong and I like the lighting. It has a feel of a yesteryear photo that has been burned along with its memories and stories. Great textures and lines makes this a very nice image to view. I did look at your other one too but this one caught my eye first.

Thanks also for your comment on my Limbs image. I was going to put a mini Tarzan in there swinging from the trees but I coudn't find one darnit. LOL

Cheers - Ann

Ferran,
Thank you for your comment. The work was done in PS, as you suspected... I used a texture layer and modify the blending to multiply. I then use a selective erase tool at light opacity to bring the main aspects of the image back into the frame. Its all just a matter of playing Thanks again!
