Hi Shane, thanks for your kind words. The midges certainly had a feast that evening but it was well worth it.

Hi Stan, many thanks for your comments. The wonderful city of Toronto has quite a lot to offer to photographers. I came back with at least a dosen photographs that are worth posting on UF. Take care. Vince

Many thanks, Jose Ignacio. After clinging on to my film camera, I have finally upgraded to digital and I still can't believe how much easier and simpler my life has become. All the best, Vince

Hi Stan, Absolutely love the picture. I believe we bumped into each other the evening you took it from Toronto Central Island. Did you make it to Humber Bay Park that evening? Regards, Vincent

Another fine piece, Larry. Love the colours, water texture and reflections. You can actually feel the warmth radiating from the picture.

Hi Sara. Thanks for the comment. I took a few pictures the same evening around 10 pm when it was completely dark. You can find them in my portfolio. They are not too bad but I would say lack originality. I did not take a picture of the wheel though. Motion and long exposure don’t go particularly well together. But maybe it is just a matter of taste.

Wonderful image,Danny. The b/w certainly makes it more dramatic. Would be interested to see what it looks like in colour. Btw, where was it taken? Cheers, Vince

Thanks for your comment, Aaron. I see what you mean. Actually, it wasn?t closely cropped at all. Unfortunately you do loose a bit in terms of quality when you transfer negatives to digital format which, I believe, is what happened here. Also this particular roll of film has been through airport X-ray machines at least 6 times. One more argument in favour of going digital, at least when it comes to travel.

You are right, the bull does not get hurt in anyway which cannot be said about two legged participants. But its their choice really.
