I love this image, the expression, you can't tell if she's glancing at the camera or looking into the distance. Tells a story. Well done with the dark room stuff, must give it a go, thanks.

Thank you Joanna. The fortress was originally built 200 AD by the Romans, however after many invasions this part of the fortress was rebuilt in the 11th century.

Great vision. I like the way the dark arch way draws you into the picture.

Thanks Antonio, these steps were the last exit from the keep at Porchester Castle, Portsmouth, UK. It was used as a fortress in the middle ages and then as a prison in the 18th century.
Saying that i thought it was quite nice to let the viewer decide where they began or ended!

This shot has nice lighting. Looks old somehow. Might benefit from being centred and cropping the ridge at the bottom.

Thank you for your comments Andrew. I like what you have done it makes for a completely different image. What technique did you use in ps to get the effect; it works very well.

Hi Jason. Really like this shot, great colours and composition. Feels like the end to me!!
Don't know if you agree but if the couple were slightly out of focus it might ad to their anonymity and to the painting quality of the shot. Tried to imitate it in photshop, not sure if it works or not. Rupert.

Great photo. Like the way the contrast is almost too much but isn't. Has a real mood about it.

great sky, the clouds look beautifull. You really get the feeling of an amazing day. What IR filter/size do you use with your D70?

I like the fact that this is very dark, the parts of the photo that you can pick out leave a lot to the imagination.
Nice image

Really love the colours that you have capturted here. They could benifit from having a more neutral background. I had a little play, i hope you don't mind.
