Saad and Clifton

A tip of my hat for the comments. Don't seem to get many views on this site. I guess I should post kittens in a basket :-)

This is one of the interior walls of Frank Gehry's Peter B Lewis building. It's full of interesting curved shapes interacting with the play of light and shadow.

Best regards

How are you I remember you from another photo site. I've always enjoyed your architecture postings. I'm thinking it was photoblink.com but I could be wrong. I haven't posted over there in years. Thanks for the nice comment.

Excellent - I really like the Alpine flowers in the foreground
though they could be a tad sharper. I see you used a aperture of f5.6. You need to stop down more to get greater DOF. Tripod? if so drop down to to f16 or better yet f22. Set the 300 in the timer mode I use two seconds myself for a long exposer without any camera shaking. I shoot everything in manual mode so I would slightly under expose this shot and use a circuital polarizer.

BTW nice portfolio.

Best regards

This is Jacques Louis David 1817 Cupid and Psyche. The look on Cupid's face is worth a thousand words. You can view this at The Cleveland Museum of Art in Cleveland, Ohio.

This is from my second visit to the Cleveland Museum of Art in the last two weeks. They just completed a renovation of the original 1916 wing of the Museum. The work is fabulous.

This is nice and it's not the usual long exposure which is a hand way over played.

Stan

This was a very dark room with only the back light from the Tiffany window and small lights from the display cases. I have another with children which I believe is a tad more interesting in the same room.
I'll post that one.

Thanks

This is a very good exposure because that is a difficult lighting situation.
