Ack...I keep meaning to scan the negatives but I'm so busy! Soon, soon...

I've taken some ringers though.

Oh yes, all of that too.

Actually, I thought about the bra part, but then thought it might be a teensy bit innapropriate.

Hey, I was just there in October! I saw the picture on your page and was like, "That couldn't be...there's no way that's Multnomah Falls!" But it is. Yeah.

Great picture. Those falls are hard to capture.

I do have a scanner for negatives (I don't know why I have it but...it's there), does that change anything?

Awesome. Thanks for the help!

Haha...I think I'm going to be buying most of my photography stuff. I have some money saved up, though, so it's not a problem.

That's a really great idea!

Mark, dahling!
I got a film camera from my madre. I can't wait to play around with it.
Any advice?
I haven't been around much because of school. It's really tough this year.

A Nikon EM...is that right? It looks like it has a default lens and a telephoto lens. I can't wait to use the telephoto!

Any recommendations on what kind of film I should start out with?

No, I've been looking for it, but I think it got deleted when my harddrive was wiped. I found a different one you could check out though: http://www.silverlight.co.uk/tutorials/compose_expose/third s.html

Yes, I'm just fine now. I had a great teacher help me through it. Thanks!

Yes, I'm glad to be back. I can't wait for everyone to see my project!
School was good, albeit stressful. I got to where I was sick, stressed, and overworked. Had a few mental breakdowns. You know, the usual. Actually, I'm not even kidding when I say that. My school is a high stress environment. But I like it that way. :P

Yes, my kitties are just fine. Although, they do like to pick fights with the dogs. *rolls eyes*
Yes, I haven't had much time for photography. There was definitely something missing in my life.
School is great. A's and B's. Oh, and I just found out yesterday I'm eligible for a national merit scholarship! It's very exciting.

Actually, I can't drive. But I know people who can.

The camera club idea is a good one. I took some pictures today that are pretty original. I'm gonna try to get them uploaded and resized tonight.

Thanks!

I know why I chose this picture to comment on. It's because of that gorgeous camera. *drool*

...

*cough*

...

Gosh, I feel like I'm cheating on my Minolta.

Anyways, you seem to have plenty experience. I've only been shooting for a little over a year, so I am very envious. Time...it takes time.

Oh, to live in Europe. Where the culture is rich and tradition holds strong. I live in boring old America where the people worship money and power. Yes, it effects even photographers and their photos. Have you ever noticed the huge difference between American photographers and say...European photographers? Just thought I'd share that.

Keep on clicking!

Sincerely,

Ashley Hays

I love the lighting! I would crop off about an inch on the right side of the photo to give more of a sense of mystery as to where the light is coming from. Great job!
