There was no specific reason for choosing color. It looked better to me in color. There are 4 different layers in the photo. The sand, water, trees and the sky. I thought the color version will be more effective to separate them. Thanks a lot for your comment as always.

Everything about this shot is excellent. The lighting fabulous. Only problem is the size. It is too small. Try a bigger size.
