Great detail and DOF in these blossoms. The background is blurred out so very nicley to such a rich warm color giving great contrast to the lively blossoms. The lighting is wonderful, as I love the soft shadows and full lighing play on the different flowers. Beautiful work.

I Promice to catch up on all the rest of your wonderful work.

Ewwwww....... this is so ugly, I cant take my eyes off the darn thing thinking it will fly out of the screen and land on me. Very interesting shapes colors and textures to this moth. How macro is this. I don't usually ask questions, but do these get as large as this one appears. Great detail you have capture on this fellow. I do like it even if it will give me nightmares tonight..... LOL

I love watching little babby ducks. They look like little fluff balls floating in the water. To imagine that they get such beautiful marking in thier feathers as they age, has always been a wonder to me. A great family portrait. Hope you got authorization to post their picture on UF.LOL
A marvelous scene.

I know what you mean by checking the camea settings. I have actully gone out special to take pictures at a certian area and spent hours taking them and then when you get home and relize the delima it is very heart wrenching. I am very sorry that this did happen to you as it is such a dissapointment. The good thing about it is that it is another reason to visit such a beautiful spot once again. A facinating scene.
Kelly

All that said, this is still a great picture. The DOF is great and the colors are enchanting, from the beautiful warm greens and yellows to the lazy blue sky.

I like this shot. It sure make for an interesting pattern all lit up like that. The orange colored lights give off a warm feel. I would like to see it all lit up in christmas bulbs. Wouldn't that be a sight to see. LOL. Nice night capture.

Beautiful details and shade of Pink. The pink is a great contrasting color for the rich brown stamen. These Ranunculus surley loves your camera and posing for you as I have not seen a bad capture of these beauties yet. Congrats on a well deserved DOD award.

What a almost perfectly cymetrical looking tulip. The colors on this one is gorgeous. The detail is so sharp and crisp. The water drops are an added bounus for the eyes, but would be just as beautiful with out them.

What beautiful red haired beauties these are. (Red hair runs in our family also). The detail is awsome and so is the lighting in this capture. I see that you don't have very many portraits in your portfolio but you should really think about taking more as you do such wonderful work. Congrats for the DOD of the day!!!

What a brilliantly ornate looking dome. Such majestic architecture. The whiter band of clouds running horizontally at the same level as the dome gives this a surreal, larger than life feel. Nice work.
