Lovely selective focus. You use extension tube very well. The soft pastel effect still retains detail in the petals. Good work . . .

Best wishes,

Good colors, good composition, sharp details and nice blured background. I like this one more than "Tulip XV", because composition in better here, in my opinion.

thank you all.

About two pieces of rainy pictures:
Monika : because this photograph caught eye of Monica, I am very glad.

i like both...
about the first piece DOF, the reason is because it increases ratios of a gloomy part to put in the background. and viewpoint control.

I prefer this one of your two rainy photos. May be because the idea of DOF is better realised here. On the previous one photo (http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1061338) DOF is so shallow that only lower part of the bamboo(??) blind is in focus with sharp rain drops. The upper side is out of focus, blurred the same the trees in the background.

I hope I explain clearly )

In my opinion the whole blind should be sharp on the first photo, while on the second it is out of focus. So that is why I prefer the second photo.

Regards,
Monika
