Even without the usefilm connotation it's a well observed image. With the usefilm angle, well we're all used to that..reminds me of myself in the many meetings I've sat through where the results (or more often non-results) of a genome wide scan were discussed in much detail. Regards, Gary

I like this image overall, it has a calm, peaceful and reflective quality. I'm not so keen on the toning which gives it, for me, a bit of an emotionally cold feel. The bokeh is also a little strange but I think I'm getting to like it the more I look at it. Regards, Gary

The concept is good. Crop the top down to a square format and, as Saad says, crop the right side a little to get half a face and the effect will be stronger. Hope you don't mind my fiddling with your portrait. Regards, Gary
