this is very good! the low shooting angle + the nice light + the gorgeous sky are the key points in my opinion. the bottle+fruit appearing in the picture are effectively chosen but i think different objects would work as well ;-)

Francesca, you had a nice idea for a macro. i like the dark mood of the image and the texture of the phone. my opinion is that lighting should have been applied more effectively, so as the reflection wasnt visible ;-)

your creative photographic approach deserves congratulations...the resulting image isn't equally great in my opinion...improvise not only to save dull situations but with originally nice images as well ;-)

i shoot many images of this kind myself and i enjoy watching the world under this perspective...different people may have different opinions on what makes an abstract perfect.....for me this image has the qualities of a perfect abstract ;-)
be happy Robert

madam looks tired, laying her head on the cold metal in a melancholy mood...or is it a playful one?

i bet this image is also wonderful in its original form as a standard colourful sunset with intense backlighting...after your treatment it has gained a new identity which may seem gloomy to most viewers but is even more stunning to the rest of us ;-)

a very good idea you had James! this is a nice creative long exposure experiment. the end of the patterned carpet appears on the top left corner and somehow distracts me ;-)
keep shooting!

hello James
the colors are what i like most in this image.your technique was applied effectively but i would like the effect to be much more abstract ;-)

i have spent many rolls of film creating similar images...inspired by a usefilm friend who is no longer here...we called them 'lightpaintings' and made them moving the camera -randomly or not- during long exposures...i may not know your technique but i like the result... ;-)

wonderful picture Maryam! (instead of submitting it in project #12 you could try #36 'Magic Light'.) composition is effective and the mood it creates is really nice ;-)

your idea for an abstract is good, but it looks to me like a 'first study' in something that could improve after some more work. i know what i would do if this was mine, but different people have different ways of approaching 'abstract', so you may experiment as you wish ;-)

wonderful abstract Jill ;-)
it might benefit from lower noise level.
consider adding a thin frame (a 2pixel black outline is ok) so as the image doesnt blend with the rest of the page ;-)
be happy!

this is an excellent photograph! the two things i like most are how the kids are all looking at different directions and the contrast between the white dressed girl in the middle and the rest of the company.
well done Zoran ;-)

Andrea, next time you plan to take a photo of your beautiful face it would be a good idea to spend some extra time looking for a background with positive impact to the overall effect. ;-)

Elise is a car i also admire but i dont own one. i think its a rather photogenic vehicle that needs a wide angle lens to get the most out of it. however, the medium telephoto you used here is ok for nice tight shots (and the yellow color is eye catching) ;-)

hi Cathy,
i like the mood of this one! the light is fantastic ( fits very well in the '#36 Magic Light' project ). if the JPEGquality of the uploaded image was better i might like it even more ;-)
be happy!
