Jose I especially love this shot with the dark sky and the bright colors of boats and light highlighting off the houses - DOF great -- wonderful work! Kind Regards, Cindi

Denzil like the stop action here - you'd think shutter would be a bit higher than 1/60th - in regards to the background it gives a ramped effect, but really this is a forum to get feedback and of course this type of shot can be re-done with less busy backfround -- credit to you for capturing "catching some air". Kind Regards, Cindi

Piotr - great that you could experience first hand this huge milestone in this little one's life. I almost want to see the crop tighter to see more of her facial intensity - nice work! Regards, Cindi

Hi Karen, so nice to see some new pixs from you! Agreed - this little girl is a doll! Beautiful softness and color. My favorite from your recent three uploads. Please share more!! Curious did you use fill flash for other lights 'slaving off' -- would also love to see more outdoor work too. Look forward to viewing more. Great work. Kind Regards, Cindi

"L" - very pronounced imtimacy here. As well it evokes a revealing quality as well. Your camera angle is noted - only adding to the strength of character and graphical feel. Lighting very nice - I especially love the way her shoes present - Slight sepia works too. Bravo my friend. Surprised with the lack of comments - hope the re-energizes this shot. Rated 7 Kind Regards, Cindi

Ah Melisa a darkroom 'junkie' too huh? Me too! This is true black and white - you know!!! Anyhow will say again that graphical quality high for me, lines too fav of mine. Have you tried any recent special techniques in darkroom? Hard to hold on to a "dying art" ....nice work. Regards, Cindi

Thank you Melisa for taking the words right out of my mouth! "I love seeing everyday objects in new light..." Bravo, bravo, bravo!!! What a wonderful perspective, composition simplicity just lovely but definitely has drama too. Sepia adds too...I'll be checking back to check on your "ordinary"! Fine work my friend. Going into my favs too! Kind Regards, Cindi

Hugo just have to say thanks for taking the ordinary out of the "box" - interesting perspective and actually I'm thinking the amazing on the simplicity of it and you just shooting from single light bulb! Nice abstracts in your portf. Wonderful graphical quality and angle. Well done. Regards, Cindi

For SURE - you GO GIRL! Wow what a shot! Movement and strobe freeze awesome here. I'm curious about the background and the span needed to achieve the shot...colors nice -- I love the liquid effect - definitely adds to this intense pix. I true inspiration to me, going into my favorites now! Kind Regards, Cindi

Leora what catches me the most with this shot is the high graphical quality and intense colors. Definitely some thought behind composition on the foliage shadow as well. Nice play on title with the red/white/blue. While serene it is also packed with drama. Good work. Kind Regards, Cindi

Frederic not sure why no comments here...but I will say that the shot is nice, what may be throwing a few eyes is the blur tool/effect (ps) of background, her crisp - making her hand almost 'not part of picture' - perhaps less on the softened background and a bit lighter would add strength to your image - I look forward to seeing more of your work. Kind Regards, Cindi

Hi Pat, I know the "again" shot went up before this. And one would be hard pressed to pick 'best' of the variety you offer on each session. I move for this one - the intensity in her eyes right on - lighting as always very nice on that "north window" -- my focus didn't even notice the "heart" till I read your "about" - you gotta say something for the photographer on that! 7s rated... Nice work as always. Regards, Cindi

Tamara awesome! N..N...N! Composition outstanding and lovely light framing. The necklace definitely adds - draws my eye to already highlighted neck and gives a nice framing to comp. Continue to do what "you" do and never reveal! Kind Regards, Cindi

Dave, this shot rocks. I love the early morning light. It really moves me. The way it highlights the fence. The perspective draws me right in.

My young son wants me to buy it. He thinks it's neat. Kids.

Maybe next road trip California...keep on rocking. Cindi.

WOW. This shot is beyond funny. It is GREAT!!! Both touching and inspired. And I believe it deserves to be in a category where it will get more exposure. I personally think it would get a terrific reception in "Children" where it will make a tremendous contribution.

Maybe I am partial to that category, because I am a contributor. But it is a very active category with a lot of thought provoking ideas. Hope to see more like this, my friend. Go for it. Cindi.

Richard wonderful expression here - full frame nice - I'm wondering a bit on ps on the possible contrast on her lip/nose - use of desaturate too? Definitely not a staged shot! A beautiful girl - keep doing what you do. Maybe a bit more open -- to add more tonal quality... will be checking back for more -- Nice work. Kind Regards, Cindi

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder -- my eye certainly likes! What strikes me the most is the softness -- I like your self-perspective -- there's a lot going on "in there" -- continue to experiment my friend! Kind Regards, Cindi

Paul, nice perspective here - I like the 'take' and eye - motion, blur, etc...all works - oh by the way ISPI (sp) in Anne's portfolio to get the effect - use "threshold" in PS...continue to experiment. Regards, Cindi

Elizabeth - nice work indeed - composition on flush right very high appeal to me - color, bw mix certainly adds to the appeal of this shot - in particular you can even see the slightest of pinkish highlight on white dress....the complexion like glass - so lovely! Like the play on words "title" -- Kind Regards, Cindi
