Excellent shoot. Great composition and DOF, I like point of sharp on the edge of pen, and soft blur in front and in back. Good stock image.

Wonderful shot. Really conveys the mood. The contrast of the sharp focus on the pen and hand with the rest out of focus is very effective. The lighting is quite good too.

I just read your 'bio', you say you are fairly new to photography. And your images are so nice, how lucky for us you picked up that camera!!
This photograph is very good. EXCELLENT exposure and composition.
