Beautiful portrait, Khaled. I can't decide between the B&W version and the colored one. They are both very nice. I like the texture and detail of the black and white one. Thanks for sharing.

I took the picture on a cloudy day, Neil, in the RAW format, and of course the water looked muddy. Using the white balance, I produced a "cold" blue version and a warm version of the image. I put the two together and erased the muddy water from the warm image to let the blue water show through.

Fred, I had no choice, you know. That was the widest I could open the lens without losing critical DOF. They don't look that bad, do they?

I like the compositon of this image, and the nice tones of gray, and especiall the tone of the lady's skin. It looks wonderful as is, with the chairs in color. However, I'm curious how the picture would look if the chairs are also desaturated. wonderful image, Gil.
