remember 1998 and the big ice rain we had here in Montreal, the biggest I ever saw, all the trees was like this one... and much more ice on them, a real catastrophic result in many brooke trees.
great capture.

LoL! Oh Mrinmoy . . . I also thought a crop might be more powerful for this composition and looked into it myself. I was going to post it for your consideration when I returned to see you had already done the EXACT same thing . . . (And posted it!) and, indeed, it is a more dynamic shot. Well done!
Seasons Best Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Thanks metoni.
Martijn, Thanks for your kind input. I scanned the slide and forgot to crop the black part on the top. Cropping the tree-tops indeed makes it a better image.

beautiful silhouette against a great backdrop of sky. And It's a good choice to have the horseman on the left of the photo. I do think it is better to crop of the black line on top and the little top of tree on the right (then immediatly the top of the streetlight would be less visible) I think these changes would bring the silhouette against sky, out better. well done, Kind Regards, Martijn

Thanks Rashed. The grain effect was not intentional, it was dark inside and I didn't have a tripod with me and didn't want want to use the flash. Instead I used ISO400. The picture came out grainy, but like you I also liked the effext.
