Nice to meet you, Mats! I take a look at your portfolio. It's very beatiful! This last your photo is very interesting. A great joy of lights and lines. Maybe you could to crop the bottom side (where's the carpet) but it's only my point of view :-)

Thank you so much. I both cook and photograph; what better combination! I had never tasted or cooked with Chinese red dates before; not only did the result look pleasing but it also tasted good!

I have never had any luck taking pictures of food. Your capture looks very editable. I'd say you had good lighting for the subject.

I do not know what the photo situation was when u framed this one. IMHO the plate should have been taken in full or just half of what shows in the frame. Either the stripes on the bread or the table could have been organised to be in line. The water bottle and fork are a distraction. Exposure has no problems here.
