Well, 'close' to where I live. It's a narrow valley in the mountains and when I wake up every day I can see those mountains without getting out of bed :)

You know, I've always wondered how to deal with models. I usually shoot friends or family, or absolute strangers (street photography).
Your model here has a great expression and solid posture that helps make the image quite interesting, especially given the other minimalist components of the image (earthen background, flowing water). It's inspired me to just hire someone and work with them for a couple of hours too!

Thanks, Dan! Actually, this is what it started out as (a metallic sculpture outside of the Christchurch Art Museum (NZ). Fooling around in PS gave me the end result :)

Thank you, Luca! Just like the other image, I was fortunate to be able to capture that particular smile, as the light slowly faded away.

Thank you very much, Luca. It was a special moment that I was trying to capture there, as the light slowly disappeared that afternoon.

Very Lovely extravagant colours here, although I wonder if you should perhaps juxtapose the bird towards a corner to play with the space and create a different compositional flow (?). Just thinking out loud...

Wonderful tones with very strong composition, Luca. I really love the concentricity of the lines which mimic the character's movement, exiting to the right.

Bravo.

Not only is this a stunning capture in terms of tones and composition, but also simply an excellent example of being in the right time and knowing when to pull the trigger. Excellent image!

Bravo.

Wonderful composition and timing, Indranil. I love the way in which you have drawn the young boy on the right into the image. Well done.

The strength here, IMHO, is the composition. A very poignant image, Dan. Well done.
