what a shame, you can't see orion's belt very well....that pesky comet got in the way! great shot shane....i wish i would've caught the comet when it was visible in the north. well done.

hi Michael, thanks for your comment. I like your crop by the way....i kept about 30 shots of this rainbow, so i've got some with the trees/shoreline cropped out. maybe i'll post one more.
as for landscapes, they never seem to capture the moment as i'd like. landscapes rarely work for me. i'm jealous of people like you who seem to have a real ability to capture the scene. not just the view, but the mood.
