You are brave Helen. I wouldn't dare doing this. But this means that your photo gives a pretty good idea how high and how steep this climb is. 2 x bravo. For the climb and for the photo :-)

As I have said earlier, I do admire Film work and all of the real afford been put in it to produce such image. Details, contrast and original feelings of colors are all wonderful and very pleasant to view.

All of the best. Gentle lady.

Rashed,

Thank you very much for the apology. That is a generous act. I was not angry with you, I just don't like being accused of something I am not guilty of.

Best wishes,
Helen
PS, I'm not a man, not that it is important.

Rashed,

Thank you for your kind comment. It is appreciated.

However, your statement that I have made bad comments to anyone else is not appreciated. You should not make entirely unfounded accusations like that. I think that I deserve an apology, but that is up to you. If, on the other hand, you find any bad comments that I have made I will apologise unresevedly for the misunderstanding.

I did not make any negative comments on your image, I only asked questions about why you took a picture when you had been asked not to. I did not make any statements. At the time I wrote this, you have not yet replied to those questions. I would like to hear your view: that is why I asked questions instead of making statements.

Best,
Helen

this image is vey beautiful with its contrast ,details and colors ,the questions is why no one add any comments here ,is it because of your bad words addressed to the other members as you did for me , any way I did not come here for that and for sure I did like this image alot.

This is great! It's like two young kids trapped in 80-year-old bodies, playing with R/C planes! And in true British style, it's very serious business. :-) Great shot!

THis is a very pleasant scene, well composed, and you used great equipment.
Thanks also, for your comment about Janis Joplin.
Helen, as I told you before, you display real talent.

What a lovely shot. These two guys looks so serious and so similar. You've captured a lovely atmosphere from 30 years ago.

What concerns me a little is that there seems to be something much more interesting going on to the right of the image that has caught their attention, but we can't see what it is...

Helen: I think the site here is a little bit dark anyway. Some of my IR stuff is very difficult to see clearly. I do "faux color" IR with a digital, at least I try to. Anson

Thanks very much for the kind comments Anson. I took the shadow detail in the rocks down a bit, so that it was just visible on my monitor. Maybe it is just the difference in our monitor setups.

Best,
Helen

Helen: I really like this photograph! Something about the composition, with the large rocks to the rear of high brightness and the ones to the front with low luminosity. Great range of greys in the clouds and the grass. Overall a very soothing effect. A little PS might have pulled some detail out of the dark spots on the front rocks. Anson

f/1... hmmm... if only they would make it for f-mount digital, alas, one can dream. Well at least leica has started making some glass for f-mount. I'm jealous you get to shoot at f/1 is what I am saying. To bad leica can't start making AF lenses for f-mount too, alas, my wallet is only able to buy nikkors Thanks for sharing this beauty of a lens, looks like fun.

I had opportunity to meet Mr. Callahan while he lived in Atlanta. He was in very poor physical shape, and died a few months later.
He was a very quiet "little" man-you would notice or think that he was a great photographer.
And early in my career I met MINOR WHITE, PHILLIPE HALLMAN AND ALFRED EISTAESANT ( spelling?) They are all gone now.
