Amazing portrait..your work is really impressive..you have a unique and natural way of capturing people and producing amazing shots..very inspiring...

Smashing idea and great framing...i'm not sure if it needs a bit of more light on the bottom (perhaps that would ruine the shiluette effect...will need to see the original to be more certain about it)..nevertheless a real fresh idea...thumbs up from me..

I love underground shots and this is a very compeling example of such...I also like the post-processing..the final image gives the impression of a high grain (high ISO) cross-processed slide film..its like a trip back to film experimentation for us guys that still love film (eventhough most of us have crossed over to digital)..Guess we will always feel nostalgic about film and will keep on picking up one of our classic SLRs once in a while in an attempt to step back to the golden age of film...

Its a nice idea..and the choice of colors is great..to me its like i can feel the texture of that tie :-) however, the left of the photo is just a blank space while the right is distarbing with those dots...as you say, you could try a close crop..or should have initially filled the frame with some light or other ties on both sides...
i would suggest experimenting with the idea (which i like a lot) again in the future..

I agree that the cars are disturbing...would have prefered a lower angle and more to the left..so the line of rocks could lead-swing us into the house at the end...with the pier framing it on the left...I also find the clouds too "digital"..especially the highlights were detail is lost...

Beautifull entry..i like the choice of apperature..has blurred the background and allowed me to view the foreground better..good entry on the glass project..keep it up..

These images are nice but i'm not sure about the montage...They do not work very well together. i would have prefered just having the left image alone (since the right one is a bit more crowdy with the two leaves not allowing me to concentrate on either one)...But i do like the left one a lot..

Love the angle and the contrast...and how the line leads into the picture..great work..only critique to be made is perhaps lightening the left top side a bit more cause all detail of the rocks on that side are lost...

Too common-place...i've seen the millenium bridge too many times in pictures..and i can't say that this adds anything new (not that the picture is bad...its well composed and with right exposure...eventhough you could have darkened the sky a bit..or used a slower shutter speed to blur the water and people passing by for a different effect)..

Dear Frank, while i can't comment on the model (which is besides the point) the picture to me falls into the over-perfect category of magazine covers. To furhter explain, the face looks too sharp and too clear to be real..like in magazine covers where u know that everything has been photoshoped and loses it's reality..
On the other hand, the framing and close up view is perfectly chosen.

Great work..i love the cross at the right..Is the sky an interpolation of another image? It looks a bit unutural but gives a nice effect..

I took the same pic (i think it is the same..from Plaka right?) about two years ago..with old film camera..i guess we all look at similar things when living in the same city..

thanks to all for the comments...the image is a bit blurred cause it was snowing outside and didn't get a chance to clean the lens (which was actually dripping wet)...
