Great toning and excellent focus here Simone! This is worlds better than most of the paths, streets, roads than are posted at UF most of the time, since you captured the details perfectly that make up the whole atmosphere! And that light at the depth invites for a mental walk into that street, a slow walk, far away from the speedy life that doesn't leave any time for real perception.

Which then suggests, that any quick and dirty approach to photography itself can only be inferior to the careful and thoughtful approach that you demonstrated here!

Congratulations!

Nick

Great sense of depth using the sphere as the "out of focus here" in contrast to the sharply depicted "there". I see not only one but two kinds of "there". The first is the building standing nearer and looking clearer than that standing further away. It is a separation od depth coordinates by light and focus.

But the sphere stands on the way, it disturbs the look to those beatifully captured details on the buildings that the spectator wants to see. Perhaps it should be kept more at the side in order to be able to play its role as what it is. Not a real protagonist but rather a hint for distance.

Cheers,

Nick

Geometrie superlative, il primo piano sferico accentua la rotonditā delle Cupole. Un'efficace intuizione che trova riscontro nell'eccellente composizione, complimenti.

A beautiful composition with rich tones and texture. The path leading the eye through the pixture. Add a lonely figure and this will move to excellent! Regards.

Bella prospettiva, ricercata e precisa, valorizzata dal b/n. Ottimo anche il taglio, la gru forma quasi una parziale cornice naturale. Complimenti.

A great focus separation of the main subject from the background, that was necessary because of the color resemblance of the foreground to the background. This way you enhanced the main actors on the interesting composition that runs diagonally on the image.

I wished the kitten were staning all on the same diagonal line on the tree looking all so upset to the same direction like the one on the top right. But who can convince them about matters of composition in photography... ;-)

All the best,

Nick

It contains much of a real look and feel, and it says much about a real existing scene, Simone, but I can't get the main point of composition. It diverges into two directions in my mind - one is yesterday and the other is today. Perhaps a wider angle would reveal the dependence of things from each other.

Still a very well balanced toning and also very good DoF and details of the depth.

All the best,

Nick
