That's Magpie Robin, i don't know the marathi name but this bird has beautiful singing/whistling pattern,specially in summer when looking for the partner. Try to get more details Rajendra.

Good Shot Rajendra but it would have been better if shot with a different angle to bring out the details of the pink lines on the flowere petels. This picture is hopefully shot when the light is at an angle, probably at late afternoon. You should have tried by also clicking one frame by totally opposite to the light to bring out the details with more DOF, if possibe.
Anyways excellent shot.

Megan, i totally agree with your view on photography enhancing your design and vice versa. I also liked the comment in your Biography part (The digital camera for me, is the best invention since sliced bread. It has opened a whole new creative outlet for me). I love this portrait the light is wonderful and the angle of her head and shoulders is very nice. I see that you are a graphic gesigner...it shows in your shots. I am a graphic designer too. I think photography has helped my design tremendously and my ability to shoot shots for my designs is also huge.
