Thats the irony of life dude! colors but no colors. I didnt realize earlier that I had some decent pics - so am rediscovering myself

Yeah framin is cool. But i was googling earlier about it and came across some website which have some 'actions' for putting various kinds of borders [ wodden like, etc etc]. Will check that out some time.

No photo from you today?

Great capture, Milan. You've got real talent. Sid is right about the frame, but I do rather like 'raw' photographs, too.

Milan, this is FANTASTIC!!! And with a fixed lens camera, too!!! Well done.

(The black and white one works, but the colour IS BETTER by far!)

Sam,
Thanks for commnenting. I like the way lines converge, yet dont meet

Went through your snaps - they are simply amazing. Love how you give something a deeper meaning.

Open the image in PS.
On the menu list click on image.
Click on canvas size
In the new size box, make sure that your anchor is centered with the arrows in all 8 directions. This wud mean that ur photo is centered and any modifications in the image size will be symmetric.
Check the relative box. This way you only need to input how much you want to increase (or decrease) the image size by.
select the thickness of the border you want and type in twice that number in both the height and width boxes.(times two because the border is on both sides and the same number in both height and width for symmetry, which is optional :-))
Select the color of the border and repeat this to get the matted kind of look.

Sid,

Well, I didnt have a tripod.. so had to keep on the ground. But keeping it horizontol would mean i would get lots of ground and less of tree - then the lens covers proves itself useful. It helped me keep the cam tilted above it. Yeah I could rotate it a bit, was lazy

Lightning is what gives it a supernatural feel.. lamp post it is - cropped it off.

'War of the worlds' is out, i guess.

Thanks for dropping by

It was an amazing sight that day, with mist and snow covering every part of the mountains, except the track.
The photo didn't really come out that well as i was expecting. Am learning.

Thanks dude. Only infinity can live near infinity, no bends!

Thanks for adding the border too. Finally i got PS now, my latest one has a border. Still have to figure out how to add the kind of border you have done.

Nice shot from the ground level. Like how u would have used a mini tripod or hit the deck to get this shot. Try adjusting the rotation on the photograph. Seems like it could use a bit of a counter clockwise rotation.

Sid

Wats with the lighting? a spacecraft or alien ship :-) ?

Seems that i am in the "war of the worlds" mode already :-P

Milu!

Nice work man. Like how the tracks go upto infinity (or atleast till the bend ahead near infinty). Give the picture a border and it should enhance the beauty of the photograph. Something as simple as the picture i am attaching will do the job. ( in my opinion)

Thanks Sid.
On the right is a station - the glare is from that. Maybe wasnt the right place to take the shot - but then the train was all curving all the time, and this particular time i got a nice straight view.

Yes, when it is just starting would be a good time to shoot. Will try that soon

Here is another one i shot that day -
