Empty: well, you see a house front there, don't you?
Pay attention to: e.g. the colored glass, the careful treatment of the lawn, the flower boxes, the romantic lamp-post, ...
Subject: German Order? German Boredom? Domesticated? Suburbanality? ...
Action lacking? Definitely. That's why!
Story: well, to me it tells even more than just one story... But it is very well possible that it does not tell you anything. Just like plain pictures of military airplanes don't tell me very much.

Is there something to pay attention for in this picture? It looks empty and lacks a subject, action or a story, at least to me. Good luck!

Hi Uschi, Loved your Travel photos, you know you should really try to make an album in this site, www.trekinu.com .

like this presentation,
http://www.mekusharim.co.il/News/ViewArticle.aspx?ArticleID =156330

it's free and you can share with us the places you traveled to on the map. takes 3-4 minutes...
(this is NOT a site to replace useFilm, it's for sharing albums with music and send to friends and share here with your photos)

Very nice architectural shot. Well composed and taken. I like the green plants next the white and grey building. The ornate brackets supporting the overhang is very interesting. Very well done.

Do pictures always have to be happy pictures?

I took these photos when New Orleans was still in a sad situation - and, yes, you find these signs on practically every house. (They are marks left by the search&rescue teams that checked every house when the city was flooded.)
