Scott - tried to up the contrast, but to me that seemed to reduce the effect of the "atmosphere".

Very Relaxing atmosphere,Since this is a CC image iwould say i would like to see a bit more contrast an colour in the clouds and sky.Still very nice;)

Hard to say without seeing another version, but I think that the composition is well balanced the way it is. The reflection is enhanced by the surrounding dark.

Shirley - I like the river as a framing element also, but the trade-off is losing the detail of the rice fields. Maybe the answer is the vertical printed LARGE!
