Incredible details-- the eyes are (or eye, I guess, since I can only see one, I am assuming there are two...) are spectacular. It has an almost quizzical look on his face. Very cute. I love owls.
Thanks for sharing this with us, Darlene.

Well, the Marcus Armani School of Bird Photography graduated a stellar student, Jinggoy. I like the position of the bird, and the details and lighting are exceptional. A solid 7.

OK, spill it, Marcus. You have a flock of hawks hidden away, and you bring them out to take photos of them. How else could you possibly get shot after shot of these beauties? I am unabashedly jealous.
Perfect. Simply perfect. Great details and you captured the wings in a wonderful pose. Oh, and the mouse it's holding on to, too much perfectness. I'll never post another bird in flight shot again. Why bother....
Cheers!

Yes, Silvia, please do put something together. If you can save it as a jpeg, that the easiest for me to put it on the site, or whatever you may want to put together.
I'm sorry you had such a tough year-- It must have been devastating for you. I hope 2007 is better.

Thanks for your comments, Michele. Yes, play fighting can look so much like the real thing. My two always sound like they are killing each other, but they are just wearing each other out, and me too, since they make me laugh so hard watching them.
I'm sorry about your lab. I know that the pain always stays just a little bit. I lost both my 14 y.o dobbie mix, then a year later, my little 13 y.o. shepherd mix. I was just starting to volunteer at H.A.L.O. at the time, and turned down the 8 month old shepherd they wanted me to look at, my heart just couldn't bear it. I was able to get my doggie fix with all of the foster dogs, then three months later decided to look at her (she had been adopted then returned). I fell in love with her, and now she is a Therapy dog with our Angel Ears Therapy Dog program, and my heart. My point is (I sometimes do have them), is if you volunteer, you are more likely to find the perfect one for you... good luck in finding your next pup.
