The ice on the wall - wow - brrrrrrr - make me so cold and that wind too - brrrrrrr again. I like hoe the wall lead us with the curv it takes to the opposite corner and meanwhile we can enjoy this view....but it´s not so friendly, nature in "it´s worst side". AS Derek writes there´s so many different tectures to look at!

look cold, windy, not the kind of weather to get out. Brave enough to be 30s!!!
worth it though, excellent capture, so many textures to look at, stone, ice, clouds, sea... everything is alive but not friendly - so dark...
love it!

I was just about to ask if it was snowing!!! For me it´s not neccessary to know exactly what you did, i mean the layer.... anyhow, both are good - to know and not to  A moody shot, good quality and i can imagine the feeling about tree´s - i mean the can ve seen so lively, as soon starting to move them self..... but i have such imagination!

Fantastic shot! It is so sad whenever I see that someone will not take the time to restore the beauty of older buildings, instead opting for new ones. I love the way you shot this, with the little old house in the front, and the oncoming apartments lurking high above them in the back. The black & white treatment is excellent and the image is tack sharp. Sad but still a wonderful image. Great find~

Now this high contrast really gives it a dark feeling to the picture. But the lines that really come out of this picture is what makes this shot a great one. Keep up the great work.

Hi Niclas, Good description in the about: gloomy, melancolic and very moody. Both the about and the title match the image very well. The composition, tonal range, contrast are just spot on. The vast, concrete emptiness portrays the dull, meaninglessness of boring grey days. Even though I like a more positive attitude towards life, I find this very appealing. Great shot, very strong style.
