I share this wish... The 17-200 Nikon lens is good but a real macro lens would have done a better job here!

Hola Alicia! Sorry but I do not understand and the translation machine does not help me much...

Désolé mais je ne comprends pas, le traducteur me donne quelque chose d'incompréhesible. J'aimeras bien parler espagnol...

Thank you, yes indeed, he was very funny, he did not seem to understand why everyone was laughing at him.

I was lucky, I was there in the crowd, he got out from his limo and he came directly toward me. I had my 3 yo son on my shoulders. I held my Pentax over my head because of the crowd. I never knew if he was smiling to the camera or to my son! He shook my hand after the picture was taken. Notice all those security agents with earphones. They were nervous.

Thanks Michael for your comment.

Chantal is a beautiful woman who uses those weirds animals (spiders, scorpions, snakes, etc.) to do pet therapy with children. They love it. She is married, thus the ring, wich was not there on purpose. I'm glad for the effect but I must admit it was not on purpose...

Hilton,

I like my D70, it does the job well. My last camera was a Pentax Spotmatic II from the 70's and it still works well as it did for years. I wonder if the D70 will last as long... Things seem so impermanent these days!

Thank you for your comment. I saw your pictures and I must tell I like them very very much. There is a touch of surrealism with those clouds, like in the movie Vanilla Sky. Those geese for exemple are amazing. Do you have a web site?

I like very much those pictures that represent usual objects from the environment and make them look like they're extraordinary. It reminds us the need to really look around!

Very nice... Do you have a special technique to convert so nicely to black and white?

I was trying a cheap light kit with my son. Incandescent lighting is OK with digital. I added two umbrellas for softness.

Nice picture technically, but the subject is very suggestive of child pornography with the provocative attitude, the chlothing and the toilet.

Salut Claude,

Oui c'était l'Argentine, j'étais au coin de Fullum et Notre-Dame. J'ai dû faire quelques essais pour trouver la bonne exposition. C'est dans l'ensemble assez réussi, voici un autre exemple.

Steve,

Thanks for your comment,

This picture was taken as follows:
Exposure time: 1/4
F-stop: 3.5
ISO speed: 200
Focal length: 18.0000

The original is darker and was boosted almost two stops with Bibble Pro using the NEF original along with some white balance adjustment. The actual firework was good but less colored, I changed it for a more colored one with Photoshop and the last step was to reduce the noise with Neat Image.
