Congratulations Amanda, you clever, clever girl. Kristin passed on the wonderful news of the safe arrival of your precious son a few days ago. Your photo is exceptional (brought tears to my eyes). Hope you're all doing well and hope to see you soon. Love Kiny xxx

Hi Greg, this is the only way we're going to see you isn't it? (there's a club meeting next week) hehehe. It's interesting looking down the barrel of the lense instead of from behind it isn't. Well done. Cheers Kiny

yep, I was really interested in the methods you used but I didn't know the details. I'll have to go back and look again. I have got some more of my son's band and a couple of other bands from last night and no I wasn't using a tripod, there was standing room (shoulder to shoulder) only. Truth to tell it was a tiny room.

Hi Ian. Thank you for your comments. I studied your photo's of musicians before I tackled the shots of my son's band so any advice you can give will be appreciated. These 'petals' of the hoya are fascinating up close, esp the furriness so I wanted to show a concentrated image of them. Cheers

Thank you Sam, I was out and about with my photography club taking shots of a beautiful natural area that was being redeveloped for housing and I wanted to make a statement about the short-sightedness of our local councils. Thank you for commenting. Cheers

I hear you. Don't worry, it's introspection only, just a glimpse of things that hit most of us at some point or other that are usually covered up so carefully. K

Hi Kel, my hair looks quite dark because I've contrasted it up and used the curves tool I've heard you and the girls talk about. Thanks for your comments. Cheers
