I think the poses of the figures add a kind of tense atmosphere to the photo - almost as though they are waiting for some thing important to happen. Makes me want to know more...

i like the cinemascope effect a lot. Draws the attention to where you want it. It would be nice if the ear was in frame and loose a little on the left side.
