Thanks for your advice, it'll be very useful.

Great colours, and a very artistic use of shallow depth of field. I think this is a really excellent image.

The shapes of the lines in this remind me of paintings by Bridget Riley. Very nicely done composition, great work.

Great depth of field, great composition, great lighting, great everything. Well done for using your eyes so well to find such a wonderful shot.

Good trick, and it worked really well, the image is great. Well composed and beautifully done.

Good to see the snowdrops are out in Holland as well as here. These are beautiful, and you've captured them very well. I especially like the water droplets which definitely add interest. Thank you for your kind comments on my early attempts with flowers.

Indeed we haven't had enough sunshine this weekend, but nice composition nonetheless. I presume the mountains were in cloud, but the lake district is a lovely area. Barry Wakelin has some amazing shots of there on usefilm, well worth a look.

Fantastic detail in the tree! The colours and composition are also superb.

I prefer the background, but I'm a bit unsure of the edges. As it happens I haven't got PS... yet. What I have is something called ACD which came with my new camera, but if you have advice about getting some decent editing software I'd be very grateful to hear it. Thanks for your positive comments.

Lovely lighting and well defined shadows. I'd suggest reducing the noise with some software, if you don't already have any which will do that then there is some available free at www.neatimage.com

Well captured rays of light, I bet they didn't hang around with the strong wind. Nice composition too.

I like the effect of teh double shadow, it makes the composition work really well. The tones are also excellent and I like the idea of using yellow colours.

Good going if it's your own hand! I know how hard it is to get it right, and then in B&W knuckles end up looking like tin foil. I think the glass in the background is a bit distracting, but otherwise a lovely composition and well done.

Interesting and original concept you've pursued, I like the composition and colours of this one best, but I think the idea behind them all is great.

Great texture you've captured in the petals, due no doubt to the excellent crispness of the image. Beautiful work.

Wow! Amazing colours. Alright then, Devon does good sunrises as well as sunsets. Nice composition, the glare is effective too.

Spectacular scenery, and unusual too by the sounds of it. The sky seems to have quite a bit of noise, but otherwise an excellent and spacious image with beautiful textures.

Well noticed, and well done getting a camera quick enough to capture it. Interesting composition with the spider sideways, but it works. Great depth of field too. Thanks for your comment.

The lighting makes the tulips look flat on the thumbnail. But with the full image they look spectacular and beautifully well shaped with vibrant colour. Great work.

Thanks for your help and advice with photographing flowers, I shall try putting your suggestions into practise and I'll post the good results I get. I can see what a difference cropping has made to this photo.
Thanks again
