I agree with the others about the exposure, the lighting is just gorgeous, well spotted and well taken.

I really like how you handled the exposure. Ideally for me a horse or person in the distance would have been perfect. Very nice capture.

Again not JUST a shot... emotive work, VERY emotive, really an eye catch subject here Dirk, the lonely feeling is powerfull always... and of course works well in greyscale, especially in that deep greyscale you use.
best regards.

Very nice point of view... looks like ...ALMOST... a mirror effect, so perfect ballance bewtween the elements, the lamps, even the small tree... but it is not a mirror effect, and that makes the photo priceless... not just a building image, very nice also the frame, the wide feeling of the lens... I like a lot the barrel effect in these photos, that makes the elements into the photo to looks even more impressive.

Nice subject... a place with old buildings and the woods into the water (that gives me an idea it could be a wood factory that one...) in that deep greyscale looks very well.
best regards.

Hi, thanks Jhon, I find that some negatives from my Horizon camera are a little distorted when I scan them somehow, when I print them in my dark room they are perfect.I do noting to them when I post them on usefilm.
Thanks,
Dirk

Impressive wide shot... and very impressive the placement of the buildings that are closer to you... gives somehow a vision of... hugging the back cityscape inside a big circle... and that is very impressive for me... PERFECT also the composition between old buildings that reminds me views from the start of 20th century against the big towers at the background of... surely much more modern times. Very well seen in greyscale.
best regards.

due to scanning? it could use some more contrast ( like some of your other panoramic pictures). do you PS the panoramic photos or is this the way you like them.
