Hi Samantha, Another great shot. The soft gray tones work very well here. Good job.

Thanks for your many kind comments Laura. This image was the best of about 20. The lighting is soft flourescent overhead from many different angles. It gave a yellow cast in the originals. I tried flash on some but got pretty big white spots. I was at a slight angle in this one to reduce direct glare.

Well done. I also like the softened edges. As a matter of personal preference, I think I like the color version best. B/W makes a great artistic image but I think color is a key element of this cars unique personality.

I agree with Jamey, The back of the other truck does not help the shot any. Everything else looks great. Very strong image of a very strong old truck.

Great capture. The overexposed BG works very well here even if it was unintentional.

Thanks for looking and posting your comment. This seemed like a good companion photo to post next to my tall trees. I really enjoy macro photography because It has helped me grow in my awareness of the world around me. There is a never ending supply of interesting and beautiful details just waiting to be noticed.

Hi, For this image I used a flatbed scanner as the "camera". The subject is a few colored circles on a black background. In PhotoShop I airbrushed some contrasting colors on the circles and airbrushed the white "comet trail". Then I used paint tools to add a few white dots. I used the blur filter several times to smooth the rough edges. Next I used the render/lighting filter to add shadows. Finally I used the render/lens glare filter to create the bright light effects.

It started as a yellow circle on a black background. Everything else was done with PhotoShop. I used the paint tools to add the bright colored lines. The tile effect gives the background some life. Next I used the blur filter about 10 times to create the glow. Finally the light was added with the render/lens glare filter.

Nice shot. The floater really stands out and the berries in the foreground add a nice additional point of interest to compliment the mountains in the background.

Great image. This barn makes mine look pretty good. I can use this as evidence that my barn doesn't need repaired yet. It can still stand for quite some time.

Hi Debby, Thanks for all the kind comments. Right now I am a "picture taker". To claim the title of "photographer" my work needs a lot of improvement. I'm really enjoying posting on Usefilm.com, It is giving me the opportunity to get tips and pointers from many really good photographers and have some fun while I learn.

Hi Samantha, The original is too dark for much detail but here is an attempt. I also tried it in sepia with fair results.
