the only 'bad thing ' about this image is that it is too coloured somehow, but the subject is very original and the idea very authentic. The DOF is brillinat here.

The shallow depth of field and rich color really make this one original. Beautiful documentry.

Good question! For some strange reason, I like the border of polaroid pictures. I think that it gives it a look that I really seem to like. I added the border in photoCHOP. It's funny, you are the first to notice that. Thanks for the comment!

I like this version MUCH better than the monochrome one. I curious about the title. It's says you shot this with a Canon D300...so why is it called Polaroid 126?

This B & W is much more dramatic looking than the colored version. Really like this one. Focus and lighting are perfect. Nice PS work as well. Well done. Marilyn

Excellent work Green but I think a coloured eill reflect more the beauty and luxorious nature of this fine hotel

Thanks Melanie, I always appreciate your comments. I really enjoy using the "wide screen" borders because they give it that cinematic look.

I love the writing on his guitar. I hadn't noticed the missing string, but glad you mentioned it. On my monitor I can't see the writing. I might need to adjust it. A great street scene, I think you captured the emotion of this one perfectly.

Very good "timeless" perspective, but I think the fellow on the far right should be excluded from the framing.

Ahem.. "taken at a recent college graduation". That criticism aside, a very nicely executed photograph. Nobody in this photograph seems to be looking in the same direction. The main subject isn't even looking at the camera at all! Excellent use of DOF. Really well done.

Adorable portrait. What a cute expression. I love the vignette look. GG, I am hoping the prices of larger format cameras are going to come down with the help of digital technology. You can try them out by renting one for a day from your pro shop. I'm thinking of doing that myself. Thank you for your kind comment on my picture.

I love photographs of children. I really like the color saturation and the fact that each child has a very different expression on their face!! LOL The child on the very right is looking as though she is TRYING to focus, but is losing interesting... quickly. The middle child looks very studious and intent on finishing her "project". And the boy is just being... well.... a boy!! LOL
