what a sweet sweet expression. I like the movement in the hair - it's not so much to be distracting but it's definitely there. I like your warm colors and tones too.

I like the higher contrast, but I don't like the blown out highlights, I wanted to keep it soft. But would love any other suggestions. I tried one last crop and think I adjusted a bit more...

awww i really like the softness and the expressions and body language you captured. The hand to the mouth almost like a kiss and his brother looking on as only a brother can.

What a cutie. Looks like a fun day. The borders are a bit distracting to me.

such a sad scene, but you've brought a human element to it without diminishing the seriousness of the place. I like the lines you brought out.

no she isn't mine, but I am told she looks just like me. she is my niece. This is one of those images that I am just flabbergasted that it came out of my camera.

Does anyone else ever feel that way?

I on purpose made the focused object to the right to draw the eye through the image and make it a bit playful.

Also the "blur" is b/c my scanner is crappy and darkens and blurs my film images.

SO cute. Nice and original. I agree the bride is a bit dark and blue, but I really like your perspective as usual and the humor in the spies.

didn't know where this came from but LOVE the Cubs and the cornfield... SO ILLINOIS!! 5th generation on my dad's side born and raised in the magnificent state! The composition is so endearing.

Oh my goodness after your help with the c41 and perspectives I had to come see your portfolio and have chills!! You really connect with your subjects!! This just draws me in and I'm ready to camp out. To watch what happens and has happened to this cherished toy. The colors are SO inviting. To wait and watch which children pop in and what they do with this cart to the imagination. Your DOF, colors, light, everything is flawless!!

thank you! No I had the C41 b/c someone gave it to me so I thought it was a good film to just "waste" on my first try at some "street" photography.

I like the Tmax 400 for the most part, but have gone digital for the time being b/c it is a cheaper way to experiment and grow.

her story has touched so many people, but I part of their family. I am one of the many "strangers" who have been deeply touched by the story Jenny has shared as they walked this road.

I really like their dark figures against the light structures and the archway opening to the squared off lines and windows.

Darren, thanks. This is actually the original composure. I adjusted a few levels and made it sepia and that was it. Just lucked out. She is a very serious baby so I was glad to get much expression out of her.

I'm VERY new to digital (just bought my D70 a week and a half ago) so is it possible to explain how or is that complicated? I went into Elements (all the software we have) and removed the color with the magic wand tool all but the eyes. I know it does a LOT of things I'm clueless on.

Ahh it feels good to be back online and to come back to such beautiful "friends" images! I rolled down until the greenery wasn't showing and it appealed to me more for some reason. But I'm sure it would lose something for others that way.

Thank you for your compliments. I am shocked and humbled by your accolades. Your work does the same for me, you have a daring creativity I feel like I lack.

Do you have a website? Feel free to email angelbabylcc@msn.com (I don't have a professional one yet)
